Errors?

Hi,
I havn't got the faintest idea why I am getting this error:

Warning: main(http://www.matthewdingley.co.uk/adverts/ad.php) [function.main]: failed to create stream: HTTP request failed! ¯-@8²ˆ£ÿ¿ in /home/matthewd/public_html/header.php on line 96

Fatal error: main() [function.main]: Failed opening required 'http://www.matthewdingley.co.uk/adverts/ad.php' (include_path='') in /home/matthewd/public_html/header.php on line 96

I get it when I run the following code:
require "http://www.matthewdingley.co.uk/adverts/ad.php";

The file is there and it works fine by itself. The whole thing has been working fine for the last few days, then when I looked at my site today, I saw that this error had been there for the last day, completely messing up my site.

Are you trying to open and read/write to some kind of file? Not being able to open a stream implies this.

It is just a file that gets a random banner from a database. The file itself is working.

am i suppose to see this error when i go to that link, i see a CMWEB banner, and nothing else, or did you fix it??

The page www.matthewdingley.co.uk/adverts/ad.php is the file that is being included. That is working fine.
The thing I am having problems with is that when I try to include that file into all my pages it generates the error I mentioned before. I have had to remove that bit of code as the parser halts and no more of the page is displayed.
I can't work out why it has started generating this error only now. It has been working fine for the last few days. I havn't made any major changes to the rest of the code either.

I can require the file just fine in my own scripts. After looking through some of the PHP manual I would suggest restarting your web server. If there have been some upgrades or patches installed this may be affecting your site.

It's all sorted.
I put exactly the same code back in and it's all mysteriously working again. Can't think why.
