Hey, i am attempting to grab results from AltaVista. At the moment it opens the page and i managed to grab how many results there were with a preg_match statement.

The problem comes when i try to get the Title, url and description of the 10 links. I have tried writting hundreds of preg_match_all statements all day but can't seem to get anywhere with it. Has anyone done this before or know how to do it?

Would really appreciate any help given.

Does it have to be AltaVista? I have done this with Google before.

anyone?, still really stuck on this. I've since tried to do this with any search engine and still having problems. anyone done this or know of a script or tutorial for google, altavista, yahoo, dmoz or just any?.

Really would appreciate any help.
