this script worked until a server crash, now after a restore, it does not. this is the error I get,

The script whose uid is 506 is not allowed to access /home/virtual/site4/fst/var/www/html/fichiers/d1ca2c15d10841c004193272e0af2630 owned by uid 48 in /home/virtual/site4/fst/var/www/html/anglais/ok.php on line 1 now I did not code the script, but Ihave to maintain it,I found that it was written all on one line; now I know what the error is, php is keeping control of the dir that it creates in the dir /fichiers, (note the dir are created as needed for e-book downloads) so the question is how do I get the created dirs to have the sameuid as the site?

Sounds like the server was restarted by a different user than the webserver was originally started as. You need to either alter the owner to the webserver user or stop the server su to the webserver user and restart it.
