checking for curl ?

how do i check and see if php was compiled curl aware ?

This should tell you if you have CURL or not.

if (!function_exists('curl_init')) {
	echo 'NO CURL';
} else {
	echo 'HELLO CURL';
}

ok.. result: NO CURL

so now do i redo the configure script adding an option for curl and then recompile ?

yup. ./configure --with-curl=path/to/curl just add that to the list.. and recomplie and your done.

is that the ONLY line i need to type if i want to add curl to my already compiled PHP?

at the root prompt i will only have to type that and nothing else?
