UPDATE problems

Hello,

I'm using the following command :

$sql = "UPDATE tabletitre SET chemin='$value' WHERE tabletitre.id_titre = '$id_titre' ";

For updating my table 'tabletitre'

What is wrong in my command.

either your fieldname is not good, or your variables are not good
or empty, or $chemin has quotes in it and you didn't convert them or escape them properly.
to know that, just echo your query before executing it.

I've done echo's for all. There are not empty.

But what do you mean about

"$chemin has quotes in it and you didn't convert them or escape them properly."

for my knowen "chemin" don't need a'$'.

sorry, my mistake i was talking about $value (the var you put in the field chemin)
