creating a drop-down menu

Hi. How do I create a drop-down menu whose items are from a database? eg. On the main menu, I'll have vehicles and aircrafts, and unde vehicles, tractors and trucks (submenus), under aircrafts, another submenu fighter jets, biplanes etc. NOte.vehicles and aircrafts are in a database.

Just do your query at the appropriate point in your select list. Print each result as an option.

Is this what you mean? I'm sure there's a better way but until someone with a better brain than I comes along it's all I can offer.

That's pretty much all there is to it except in most cases you will want to store the primary key of the record in the value statement of the option. The value is what ends up being sent back to the server.
