Well, I've never heard of mysqladmin, but I assume it's like phpMyAdmin...

In that case, NO.
You don't need a 'helping tool' to use it. 😛
Just MySQL if you want a database with your usernames and passwords. In fact, you could have any database. 🙂

chuckles I make web based games (of course text based with little graphics) But they are fun, and I always program better after creating one... Good programming experience.
