Anyone got text to speech working in PHP

Am playing around with this and it appears that you need javascript to get it working correctly. Still unable to get it to work in a .php file, mainly cause the example l am following uses vbscript, and while being a newbie at php am definitely lost when it comes to transcribing vbscript.

Any resources, links, code snippets gratefully received, and will be acknowledge when the script is complete (it needs a few other things added, but that's purely php coding)...

You are a little vague... what exactly are you looking for? PHP is a server-side scripting language, and will not do anything on the client. How will this help you with text-to-speech? Perhaps you could include some code snippets of your VBScript so we can see what it is you are trying to do, so we can better help you.

Sorry Buzz, yeap am aware that php is server side and needs some client side stuff to get working. Complete newbie at getting this to work on web sites, though have used desktop engines to work it before.

Was kind of hoping some one had done this before, so l could incorporate their stuff and focus on the other additional script needs l have.

Will post up scripts to show ya what l am on about, unfort at work at the moment so will do them later today.
