I´ve got this and it works perfectly, but i need it to detect ftp:// too and it should only replace http://xpto.com no yadahttp://xpto.com I think it can be done with ^ and $ delemiters but I tryed and it wasnt working, can anyone help me?

what does ^ mean?

beginning of line/string, so it's probably not what you need.
\b might serve you better, this is a word boundary.

so, what is your problem extending the pattern to match [url]ftp://[/url] as well?

sure, it's easy to use:

\bhttp:

would match http: at the beginning of a string, or after whitespace, or after any other "non-word-character", but not after other letters as in "yadahttp://".
