Silly, Easy Question on Buttons

I would like to attach a link to a PHP button:

<INPUT TYPE="button" value="&nbsp;Click Here&nbsp;" width="50" height="20" >

I can not seem to get it to work. I even tried a straight HTML href out of frustration but it does not work.

ALl I need is for the button to link to another PHP page. I appreciate the help TIA

either use
<form method=post action=nextpage.php>
<input ...
</form>

or javascript

<input ... onClick="window.location.href='nextpage.php';">

btw. Buttons are HTML, not PHP
