[Resolved] complicated/easy question about my query

okay.. i'm going to list my query, my results, and the var types in the dbase so u have all the info, but, i'm stuck. i get no errors back from my query i printed mysql_error() and got nothing back. the query seems fine, but, it doesn't show up in the dbase. i'm wondering if it's too big? well, here's the code etc. thanks for any input. - Froz

and all the var types are either varchar or char except for the very first one which is int(10) which there should be no probs with that one. thanks for anything.. - Mike

Well, that is a huge query, so I wonder if your db structure could be improved. But, whatever. Have you tried inputting your query directly to MySQL through the monitor program?

Umm, also, if you look at the query output you've quoted, you see that a parenthesis is missing after the VALUES portion.

i know it's a big query... :S i haven't figured it out yet (exactly what the prob. is) but, i'm doubting it's the query size. but you never know. most of the values are 1 byte vars. so data wise it's not horribly big. most of the variables are for checkboxes on a survey so i find it kind of dumb to make two queries .. but.. i don't know, i'm semi-noobish 🙂 i'll eventually solve the prob. but i've just been workin on this one query all day.. very sad. thx for the reply

ya, i got that part fixed already.. i think it's just a typo somewhere, or a caps error or something.. i'll keep lookin

o, and ya i did try that, and i got the same error... :S weird.. mysql error reporting is horrid might i add

it's because of the word All in my query... guess it's reserved lol.. thx for the help anyway!
