Which template system are you using?

Hi,

I am developing a fairly complex project recently, and I found that using PHPLib template makes my project more complicated(it was ok for small programs). Most of the code was written to manipulate the template.

I learned that Smarty was a good choice to separate the logic from its presentation, but I am not sure if it's a good idea to use because for non-professional clients, they don't know how to edit Smarty template and the project seems to be mostly depended on Smarty.

I would like your opinion please.:rolleyes:

With the more complicated projects ive encounted i tend to make my own template system, making my life easier.

I tend to do the same with most smaller projects as well. But i guess i try to get away from all the template systems like smarty..

Depending on how complex and size of the project your are doing, you may wanna do the same, it may take a little longer but at least you know it works, and people arent gonna be emailing you

How do i do this? whats that? where can i do that?

I wrote my own template system too. It is really handy to use a template system 🙂

I always use my own templating system, as they tend to work exactly as I want it to.
