Form and $_POST problem

Hi all,
I'm currently posting my form data via email.
Everything works fine except the value for $email within the "From: <>".
The $email value associated with the $mailcontent variable gets passed OK.
Here is the code:

$fullname = $_POST['fullname'];
$email = $_POST['email'];
$phone = $_POST['phone'];
$comment = $_POST['comment'];

$toaddress = "[e-mail]";
$subject = "Contact Form (ERTA)";
$fromaddress = "From: $fullname <$email>";
$mailcontent = "Client Name: $fullname\n\nClient E-Mail: $email\n\nClient Phone: $phone\n\nClient Comments: $comment\n\n";

mail($toaddress, $subject, $mailcontent, $fromaddress);

Any ideas?
If i put an actual email address value in it works fine also.

I think your problem is as follows. Try it this way...

$fromaddress = "From: ".$fullname." <".$email.">";

That might work a little better. Plus you should get into the habit of using the $headers variable in your mail function. But it should work as written above.
