A range of dates

Hi all

Quick question : Anyone know the easiest way to find a list of dates between a given start date and end date

e.g 2001-01-01 start 2001-01-29 end i want to get the following dates back
2001-01-01, 2001-01-08, 2001-01-15, 2001-01-22, 2001-01-29

As you can see i am using 7 days as the interval

Would prefer to use sql to get the dates back rather than php

any ideas?

you can try out between

SELECT * from table BETWEEN '$start_date' AND '$end_date';

That won't give me the dates unless they are in the table (the only dates in the table will be the start / end dates)

I want to be able to generate the dates inbetween a start and end date

sorry man, i must have been reading inside out when i read your post, not sure what you are gonna have to do there, maybe someone else can pop in and help, weedpacket is always pretty good, although i have noticed since he has become a mod, he doesn't post as much, too busy cleaning up messes i suppose. look like the mod's could use more help :-)
