Problems uploading files!!!!

Hi!! Please help me!!!

I did a normal page to upload a file using this form:

<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="upload.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="300000" />
File name: <input name="nombre_archivo" type="file">
<input type="submit" value="Upload">
</form>

The script catches the file perfectly in my machine. I want to publish my script in our production server, and when anyone try to upload a file, the server do some strange things (randomly):

1. inteinfo.exe starts using 100% of the CPU until I kill it
2. A process starts to create MANY files (more than 50,000) in the upload temp dir, this files are named phpXXX.tmp
3. It seems to upload the file, but the name doesnt correspond the the original (the name is detected something like "____________F56827394").

I repeat, this works perfectly in my computer!! but in the server don't... I already change permissions to "Everyone" all the power in the temp directory, in the destination directory (I'm using move_uploaded_file to move the file)

PLEASE HELP IS NEEDED!!!

What are you doing with the file once it gets uploaded?

What's configured differently between your computer and the server? Is the operating system the same? How about versions of php, web server, etc.? Compare your php.ini files...

Also, I've had trouble before with the 'enctype' value on a form element. Try removing it.

Did u check the php.ini file in your server
Check for File Uploads and set them as it is in you machine

Hey guys! thank you for replying!

I'm using the same operative system in both computers (Win 2k). After the file is uploaded I try to use "move_uploaded_file"...

I finally "solve" the problem, I was using ISAPI filter for Windows... when I switched to CGI, everything started to work JUST fine!!

I can't believe, I've NEVER been able to use PHP4ISAPI for more than one week!! it starts creating problems in all the scripts!! (do you've any sugestions?)
