IP Handling

HI ,

i am developing an online shopping cart , where i need to show diff prices for a product based on the countries , i have a table in which i have the ip ranges and their possible country codes ,

now the problem is , an user can come thru a diff gateway which is in a diff country or when he comes thru a dial up or isdn he may be assigned a dynamic ip , is there any way to find this out ,

i am struck with this for the past 2 days , HELP .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, you can't find this out. This data is sent via the http headers, and you can't entirely rely on it. It is possible to forge it. Basically, you'll just have to settle with what they provide, because you don't have much choice in the matter 🙁
