Scanning a site

Hi all,

I want to make a script that is capable of going to a site, enters the user and pas, goes to a page from that site, conducts a search, returns the result.

Though I have PHP experience I have no idea how I can do this.

Maybee someone can help me out or point me to a tutorial?

Mabye what you should try to do is making a script using:

www.php.net/fopen or www.php.net/fsockopen
www.php.net/fread
www.php.net/fgets
www.php.net/fclose

Which grabs the results from teh search page. If you need to have it logged in, you'll have to fake it, meaning find out what it uses to determine a login ( probably a cookie ) and fake the cookie send and everything.
