tick box to arrays

Hi Guys,
I need some suggestions please.....
I have a list of names with tick boxs next to them. The user ticks which name they want to email.

I have no idea how to take the ticked names and stick them in an array to loop through.

Any ideas please?

name the all with the same name, followed by [], e.g. name="names[]". the values should be the names itself, and then you can easily access them as array on the processing page.
