how many record can store in mysql ?

is it mysql suitable for record data more than 10000 ? i mean a table . maybe 10 table need to store 100000 record.
is it realiable ? running on window 2000. ?

I read, that there can be up to 3398 columns in a table, the rowcount
is limited by the max filesize of the OS, 4 TeraByte, I guess?
Don't worry about that 😉

Reliability: I'd prefer a UNIX/Linux system, but if Win2000 has been
configured properly, I think it should do the job

I currently have ~350,000 rows in one of my tables, and several other tables with ~200,000 rows in each of them as well. It works fine.

That is no-where near the limit, you could store MILLIONS
