empty superglobals

hello!

i'm having trouble with the $GET and $POST (and $HTTP_GET_VARS and $HTTP_POST_VARS).... they are just empty! switching on/off register_globals and accessing variables doesn't work either...

the variables $SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] and $SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] are however set...

i can't understand what's wrong!

i'm using apache 1.3.27 with PHP 4.3.1 on Solaris 7...

Have you POSTed or requested via GET method ( query string ) any variables?

Cause they will be emtpy unless you do that...

What version of PHP are you running?

hi!

i have a little test code that tests both GET/POST methods... the scripts prints the $SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] correctly with the parameters entered in the html form if i do a GET method (or manually adds parameters to the script)... but $GET is empty...

i'm using PHP version 4.3.1...

update:

looking into the error log i can see error messages "undefined index" for the $_GET["xxx"] lines... so somehow they REALLY are empty/unset! :-/
