OK this is an interesting one

i have two dropdowns one with a set of dates that can be used as the start date and a second one that is used for (you guessed it) the end date.

Now what i want to do is choose a value from the start date and have the end date dropdown menu automatically reload so that the values in it start at 7 days in the future from the start date.

so if i choose 2003-05-01 in the start date dropdown i want the end date dropdown to reload and start with the value 2003-05-08.

Now i am aware that i will have to mix php and javscript together

anyone got any good ideas on how to accomplish this ?

I've done this in the past in an easier way though.

I simply set the first select to reload the page and submit the form onChange, then the next one uses php if statements to decide what should happen. If you don't want to reload the page, then look at the link above. It may be a little more complicated to properly setup though.
