we've just upgraded from 4.0.x to 4.3.0 and i'm suddenly finding session management doesn't appear to properly record null values (or allow them to be updated).
i notice these null variables do get mentioned in the session file, but are followed by "R:" and a number rather than the usual string or numerical info.
can anyone suggest what may be causing this and how to fix it?
(we're running apache 1.3.27 on RedHat7.)
