I want to make a poll where everyone can vote every 12 hours. So i try it with cookies, but the browser gives me this error and I don't know what the problem is:
"Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/mbme/index.php:12) in /var/www/html/mbme/php_poll.php on line 50"
Maybe somebody knows whats wrong.

header has already been sent.....put the following on your page in question:

//top of page
ob_start();

//content

//end of page
ob_end_flush();

That solution is strongly dependent on the cause of the problem - it won't work if the problem is a stray blank line at the top of the file, for example.
