Regarding the "My Account" sections...

I just attempted to put up a "public profile"... I've been posting to the forums for quite a while. Although I think I was cookied in, the "my account" page/form seemed to think I was an unregistered user. I registered anyway...any way to associate the 'public profile' with the forum username? Sorry if this is a FAQ...it does seem I've heard something about it before...

Also, the 'resume' section needs to addslashes() before attempting the SQL query...I used an apostrophed year and got a nice, though mostly invisible (blue, heh) SQL error message....

Right now, if you have a board userid, the profile section will pick up on that and display it in your "Edit Profile" section on that half of the site. It will record your id so that I can associate the login later. I can't do it at the moment, but at least wanted to get that much happening, since it is the binding data.
