Reading a page over HTTP, POSTing to it

I've made a script which reads a webpage on a different server (http) by using fopen and fread. This webpage happens to be a PHP script and I need to find a way to POST variables to it, so that it will show the right information I need to read. Anyone know a way to do this?

Sockets. 🙂
I can't help you with them, but I know that's the only way to do it. You have to open the server and tell it that you're requesting a file. Look up an RFC about HTTP/1.1. I'm sure you'll find all the information you need to know. (Not about the sockets, but about HTTP/1.1. As for sockets, read the manual.)
