E-Mail, The Struggle in PHP

Hi,
Yes It's,
Please Do you know, How can code to Send Email using PHP?
I may hear the sound of mail() Function, But...
Where or How can I place my user name, password and smtp server.?

So, I need to send emails from a PHP aplication Run Under MS windows OS, from my Home
Only I have, beside the ability of running PHP on The web,
an email account, its password and its SMTP.

May this Done?
Please if you know any thing about this, tell me soon, specially if it was a tutorial.😕

Look at php.ini. You'll see some SMTP configuration in there.

The php.ini
yes it contains part about SMTP, but it has not a place for the password and the user name.
However I will look at the resources you supplied soon

Most SMTP servers don't require a username and password, authentication and relay prevention is usually handled by subnet. Check to see if you actually do need a username and password for just smtp. If you do, there's a class on zend.com with support for username and passwords on smtp's.
