😕 PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I am very new to programming. I know no ASP, PHP, SQL, etc. languages. I have a website, and I need to add a simple search function for users to search the site to find what they want.

I am still a college student, and I cannot afford to pay for a search. I have tried all sorts of free searches such as: Google, FusionBot, FreeFind, Atomz, SearchButton, and many others. They have TOO MUCH advertisting on their results pages, and thats not professional.

I am just a web & graphic designer...not a programmer. I have not yet learned Coldfusion, so thats totally out of the question.
I usually use DreamWeaver MX as my HTML editor.

PLEASE help me. I have visited many pages with PHP, or ASP site search tutorials...no luck. I have a few books, but they do no good. Any suggestion on codes, links, etc would be very helpful. I have to work on this webpage alone, so please do not ask me about the site. Its for a comparison shopping firm. The host supports SQL, PHP, etc, and I have a Windows platform. I am on deadline, so please relply soon.

If the other stuff proves too hard to install, you might want to take a look at the Zoom Search Engine. All you need is a Windows machine (to run the indexer), and a web server that supports PHP or ASP. You dont need to setup databases, you just pretty much have to run the program and upload files.
