couple of errors..

this was working fine at work, now i have brought it home, im getting this error.

Warning: Undefined variable: _GET in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs/mysql/display.php on line 25

its a page that displays a the main image from a thumbnail that was clicked on from the previous page.

Any ideas?

Well, what version of PHP are you using at home?
What is the error reporting settings?
When you tested, were there any variables being passed via the query string?
Do you check for variables using isset() or empty() ?

well, yes, in the address bar, the correct path was being called,

and i also call "pic_descrip" and "pic_area", these were also displayed in the address bar.

the php version i have here is (if i look at phpinfo) 4.0.6

im sorry, i am unfamiliar with the error report settings.

i will paste in the three errors again, and what i get in the address bar.

the address bar looks like this

so it is getting the data........???
but i have no idea why they are not being displayed.

Well, the culprit is your version of PHP.

$HTTP_GET_VARS is deprecated, but PHP 4.0.6 is early enough to not have $_GET

Well, another way of solving the problem would be to use your text editor and do a search and replace of all instances of $_GET with $HTTP_GET_VARS in a copy of your script.

Well, since you've upgraded there's no need for that now, but PHP 4.0.6 was pretty stable and reliable.
