Posting XML data with socket - [propay credit card trans]

Help?

I am trying to send xml data (not a file) to a credit card processor (Propay) They simply state open a socket and post to the supplied URL. Then they will send me an xml response about the transaction.

After two day's of trying different socket functions, I am still in the dark and frustrated.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Try using snoopy or just search the web for a propay php script. Don't try to roll your own if you don't know what you're doing.

I am here to learn an exhange ideas not just to steal from others.

It's not stealing if the script is out there. I wasn't trying to say steal the script...I was pointing out you're not the only person that has needed to solve your problem and it's likely that someone else has already written the code and released it to the community.

It's that freely released code I was suggesting you search for.
