hi guys iam new to php. 🆒

i like to build a site which has a homepages for users(akin geocities) with photo's. i like to display these photos i the home page, so that when people click on it, they should be taken to that users home page.:o

i also like 2 levels of security, one for me and another for the users to edit thier home page. i need to authorize the page to be diplayed in the site.:o

i also need a forum and a chat, i think i can phpbb and irc for that. i like to know wheather is there any CMS which has the above features or is it better me developing it. also i would to get suggestions from you guys on a good FREE IDE to use.

i know iam asking a lot, but can any one help me out🙁

If you are looking at learing and writing your own code simply go through some of the php tutorials and then do searches here after you figure out what you wqant to do.

Read the manual that is a big thing as it does help alot.

If you simply want it done and don't really want to code yourself alot use something like phpnuke or postnuke and that should giv eyou what you are looking for.

the problem is i need to finsh it in a week. i have downloaded an installed postnuke, but could'nt figure out how to do what i need?

is there any free php apps which does what i need?

check hotscripts and look at what they have over there. They may have most of the stuff in pieces that you would have to put togther.
