Encrypting your PHP program

Hi, me and a friend of mine have created a very cool, complex PHP program that we would like to distribute. We would actually like to have 2 versions of it - a trialware version, and a full version available for purchase. For the trialware version it would be exactly like the full version except it would have a timeout feature like after 2 weeks you can no longer use it unless you purchase it.

My question: Can anyone recommend a good program that would encrypt all our scripts and have this timeout feature. I have tried Source Guardian but their timeout feature is by Date (it timeouts on a specific date you enter, not a length of time) Is there any other programs out there that anyone knows of that can help us.

You could try Zend Encoder, but it's very expensive. However, if you think your product will sell well, it might be worth the investment.

Otherwise, you may just want to copywrite your work (and if it's written in the U.S., it's automatically protected by copywrite, if I'm not mistaken). Look at vBulletin -- it's a good commercial product, but it's not encrypted, so anyone can modify it to their heart's content once they purchase it.
