breaking out of a class...

hi everyone...

how do i break out of a class execution? what i mean is if i call a class and run it in a page if i have certain condition met in the middle of it i'd like the process to die and the page should go on normally....

i tried exit(); but exit();, while it does stop the class execution. it prevents also the rest of the page to be displayed for some reason...

any help appreciated....

try using the return() statement instead of exit()
