What kind of report tool should I use with php

Hi, I want to provide my application system with report generation capability. What kind of report tools does php support? Where can I obtain that report tools? Any code sample for invoking report from php page?

I use FPDF to produce reports. The site has tutorials and code samples.

FPDF requires no extension (except Zlib to activate compression) and is compatible with PHP3 up to version 1.31.

So not compatible with 4+?

Hi, Do I have to install fpdf into web server machine which runs php before I can do any test?

I have a php page for user to choose selection criteria before hit the "generate report" button. How to pass the value from form to fpdf report? My fpdf report will based on mysql query and plus the value user selected in where clause. I donot need put every data in a cell.

This is a example my report will look like:

Summary report --Title

Id TaskNo Task Name Task title Product Area date

1 CCR1 Test1 Title1 product1 05/06/2003
2 CCR2 test2 title2 product2 05/10/2003

Total records: 2
Printed On: 05/10/2003

'fpdf.php' has to be included in your script.

include ('/path/to/fpdf.php');

Therefore the fpdf.php file must be in one of the directories defined in your include path in your php.ini file.
