apache setup

ok, I have apache all setup, i have my directory set correctly, i tested http://localhost/index.html , it works fine.. But .php files don't work.. how do i get php documents to work?

Have you had php engine installed. Did you install PhpTriad for Windows which has apache, php, and mysql?

yes i set all that up, this is the message i get when trying to access a php site:

The requested URL /php/php.exe/test.php was not found on this server.

I don't know why it goes /php/php.exe/test.php

Probably has sometin to do with this thing someone told me to put in conf:

Action application/x-httpd-php /php/php.exe

the best one for me is PhPdev i tried phptriad but it not that very easy to use.
but phpdev has apache,mysql,Ftp server, php and Inviasion forum
