Need more traffic.

I have a freelance projects site and want to promote it among your members. I would like to know wether this is allowed.

I don't think it's against any rules, but people tend not to like if you spam them with sites just to get traffic.
If you wanted help on something, however, people would be much more inclined to look at the page. (That doesn't mean make up a fake error, by the way...)

You are not allowed to spam members by any way. Moreover you cannot advertise your site in forums by posting something like: please visit my site etc.

Contact the admin( to contact via email: [e-mail] , to contact via PM, the Board Member Id: jstarkey ) to know how you can do what you wish to do.

MY suggestion would be to put your site in your signature, and post regularly (with good content, of course 🙂) on this board. You could even hang out in the Echo Lounge and chat -- eventually people will click on your link in your signature.

It's like when you wear a new dress to a party: You want people to notice and admire it, but the moment you start telling people, "hey, look at my new dress!" Nobody wants to have anything to do with you.

I used "dress" because keropee is a woman. I figured she would understand the metaphor better if I used "dress" instead of something more manly. Yeah. Whew.
