Hi, I am writing my SQL data to an CSV file for reading in MS Excel, but the problem is that some fields contains double quotes and these quotes will Excel not print, can anyone explain why?

By default, Excel treats fields in quotes as text fields and strips the qoutes. Try changing the file extension to .txt and excel will allow you to select specific import options. One of those is treating qouted fields as text. Play with it andyou will see what I mean.
