PHP on Computer

I downloaded the windows installers of PHP and MySQL on my computer so I can test my pages locally. After installing both, I don't know what else to do. What else do I do?

you need a webserver, like Apache (apache.org), which serves the
pages, PHP creates

meanwhile you can use the command line version of PHP, called php oder php.exe

if you don't like bothering with configs, download a complete package,
called WAMPP or LAMPP (Win/Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl)

Where can I get WAMPP, will I be able to run it on windows xp professional?

XP: refer to the manual, but I think you'll need XP SP1 for Apache2 to work
