regarding PHP and IMG SRC...i need help

What is wrong with the above code?
how come the picture is not displayed??

Well, do you get an error? Or does it just not print out the URL correctly?

Try taking out the PHP.

<body> 
<? 
$myimage = "http://www.abc.com/img/abc.gif"; 
?> 
<img src = "<?php echo $myimage; ?>" > 

</body>

Perhaps it's because following the URL ends in a 404?
