hi. im new to this (and any) forums. ive only been coding for about a month, and i love it! i wanted to make a website, and learned basic HTML in an hour. when i got into advanced stuff, i found that OO programming just wasn't for me. a friend of mine reccomended learning PHP, and here i am.

i've been drifting around for a few weeks, reading some posts and gauging the atmosphere. i've been a lurker on many a forum, but this is the first i've posted on.

You certainly picked a user-friendly one to just start up in, especially since you're interested in learning PHP.

There are plenty of us to go around answering and asking useful questions that are very likely to be useful to you. I recommend browsing through a couple of pages in the newbies section if you want to get a good understanding of how to do some of the basic things in PHP.

lol. that. right. forgot about that..........i downloaded a .zip full of buttons for websites once -- and that was one of them.

of course i had to get rid of that horible grey border (who's idea was that, anyway? it seems to be 'the' fasion on many older personaly sites(don't ask me how i know that)), but after i did that......... well,

it's a nice beaver. DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITHT THAT? 😢
