Need Coder PLEASE...

Hi,

My name is Mark, webmaster of Free Tool Kit, and would like to know if anyone would help me with a school project....

The thing is that I recently made a whole new re-design of my school's site, and would to add on to the looks and functionallity of it, I would like someone to finish off a nearly complete contact script.

If you look under the discussion menu you will see "msn list" & "icq list". These are the current contact system I have made in perl. It is VERY slow and buggy; no filters exists for swearing, and deleting of members dont work. If I have to do it, I go via FTP, and this screws up sometimes by deleting the whole txt database.

So, quite a while back I asked a friend of mine to make one, and he was doing pretty well at it too. Then, all of a sudden, he just quit and sent me what he done uptil that point. If anyone wants to see the screenshots of it, check it out here:

As you can see, most of it is done, and just a little needs to be finished up on. If I knew php I would have finished it off myself, but dont have time to learn as exams are approaching and I'm about to graduate school. Therefore, I would like to finish this off until then and give it to my school. Next year, there is anyone at my school who has the necessary skills to make the school site as great as it is now, so I want to try to do my best till then - so they have very lttle work to do/"screw around with"

So...

I was wondering/hoping if some kind sould out there would like to finish off this project for my school. I would be extremyl grateful. You can put your name/email/web url as credit on every page on the script AND I am also offering: 3 banners of your choice (468*60, max. 20KB, no illegal/xxx stuff) linking to a website, for a whole year included in my banner rotation.

If you want more, I hold contests at our forums (link on top of my site) where cash/free advertising/domain etc. is given away.

In conclusion, will someone PLEASe help? I asked many people out there, but was rejected.

This would probably be best suited in the echo lounge. And just a sidenote: have you looked at your site in netscape? As far as I know, most school districts use macs (and netscape) on their computers. I built my school's web site last year and had to make sure it worked on Mac OS's on netscape. I viewed your site in netscape and all that comes up is the top banner. Keep in mind iframes are IE only features.

Could you move it then since you're mod if you think its better suited there?

Also, I looked at the site in IE5+ and NN7+ browsers and it looks ok. I'm not too worried about the older ones as in my school district (and in my school), we mostly use IE browsers, as its better preferred.

However, I may keep the old, current design for older browsers, just in case.
