hi,
i've been writing a code to send an email across to all people being registered in mysql. a webfrontend gives me the possibility to fill in all necessary data (subject, body, attachement).
unfortunately the subject and body content of the sent mail is displayed in the case of input of special characters (e.g. € or an ä,ü,ö) sometimes pretty weird.
funny enough, if using different browsers or platforms for sending the result varies. sometimes i do receive an email with these characters replaced by €, sometimes they do get replaced with just other characters and sometimes everything is fine.
the page, where the form is located, is encoded like
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
can someone help me out?
