i need a script that converts backslashes to forwardslashes....
-m
have a look at str_replace on php.net here's the link
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.str-replace.php
Good Luck Rob
you try using str_replace....
you'll find that PHP has a thing for backslashes..... they are reserved characters....
i tried it already..... and thats why i asked on the forum.
the backslash is an escape caracter. If you want to use this caracter itself you should escape it first.
So if you want to replace the backslash use something like this:
$string = str_replace("\\\\", "/", $strIn);
its nice when clever people reply...
thanks
