Random deviates function library?

Hello,
Any help appreciated! I've been searching for php functions that will allow me to sample random numbers from discrete/continous distributions (e.g. normal, beta, poisson etc) without luck. I can find the C code so I suppose I could try to compile an extension but it sure would be easier if something like that existed already. Any advice is appreciated!

They are the best two I know for class/function libraries

Thanks for the reply OL. I looked there but I couldn't find anything other than uniform random deviates and apps related to them. The folks at UCLA have posted the c code for this sort of thing: http://software.stat.ucla.edu/index_body.php

I post the link so that others who might read this thread and be interested can find it. I suppose I could compile and call it with dl() but I'm still hoping that someone out there has had this same problem and found an easier solution...
