Variable to directory

Hi ther, can anyone tell me if this is possible and perhaps point me in the direction of setting something like this up?

We want to forward people to a specific directory using thier name as a login, the directory name will be the same as thier login name and then also check that the directory does exist, if not to forward to an error page.

we create a directory of photos for people , and name the directory with thier name, they can then login using thier name, which forwards them to thier directory.. we dont want to use database just plain scripting.

how do they login if you dont have a database?

anyway u can create a folder when they first signup.

nope, the login is just a form field where they enter thier name, which then forwards them to thier directory that we have created manually beforehand.

Make a form so the users can fill in their name, get the name with the $_POST array, and use header() to forward them to the directory.
Remember to use header() before anything is written to the browser.
