Uploading multiple files..

Hi!

Here's the deal:

I have a stock-photography bureau on the net and i was wondering about this:

If a user selects say 10 pictures the user wants to buy, and the transaction has been accomplished through for instance PayPal, How can the user get all of his files online?

These files are typically 4-6 megabyte (compressed tif format)

Is there a way to do this?

Any help appreciated!

um, im gunna say compress your images to png first off... that's just way to big for anyone with 5 minutes of spare time to download on a modem... the rest i don't know much about 🙂

Bundling these up into a zip file would be a good idea. If just for the easy of downloading them. However if you dont want to zip them you would need to create a page that links to a php script which can force a download using the header() command. something like

all you need to do then is set up the correct images and the download script should do the rest.

I have to agree with khaine on this one.

Zipping the files after the order will probably
be your best bet. It is not very difficult to do,
and I believe your customers will thank you for
it.
