Hi,

Im trying to make a members page with a ranking.


Rank(not in DB)  | Member id |
  1                      23
  2                      12
  3                      65
  4                      223

Then a user goes to this page I want thier member ID at the top,
with the people on a higher ranking will have a Previous link and the lower ones will have a next link. Im also wanting a limit of 100.

What i have got is everything bar member ID being top of the main page.

There is hopefully be over 500,000 members in 6 months time so i dont want the users to have to click the next link a billion times to get to there info.

Can anyone point out any way to do this?

If the rank is not stored in a DB, where is it stored?

Its made on the fly, and it works with multi pages too.

Its just a maths calculation for LIMIT and the page number

$rank = 1+$ID*$limit-$limit;

while(blablabla)
{
echo"$rank- $user";
$rank++;
}

$rank = 1 so the first user is 1st
$ID = page number
$limit is the mysql LIMIT of 100
