I just installed Apache,PHP, and MYSQL on my local machine running Windows XP Professional and I was wondering what steps I need to take so that access to the web-sever is only available from machines on my local network. I am connected to the internet via a cable modem and I don't want this web server running for the entire Internet to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search for Listen 80 in Apache\conf\httpd.conf, and replace Apache with wherever your Apache directory is located.
Replace Listen 80 with Listen 127.0.0.1:80, should work fine.
