xml parse loop?!

hi everybody:

i have a class that'a parsing a xml file requested over http. that one is working fine. the problem however is that the data in the xml comes in chunks.
what is the best way to make a loop in the class to make multiple retrievals of the xml untill there are no more data coming in, store it in arrays and after it's all down to sort it according to different criteria and render it...
sorting and rendering is not a problem... the loop is....

any ideas appreciated...

ok. i got the loop to work....

(maybe stupid) question:
is there a way to do "paging" from arrays?
let's say i have an array that has 777 items. i'd like to show 33 at a time renderd - is that possible?
