Mozilla (browser)-related issues

I have noticed the following issues when browsing the forums using Mozilla 1.3 so far:

in the templates newthread and editpost, the <textarea> is about half the width of how it's supposed to be
horizantal rules <hr> do not show up for [ php ] tags

That's all so far, I hope they get fixed.

I think those are problems with vBulletin. I doubt the

 one is, but the other is, most likely.

No, they are not. I browse dozens of other vBulletins without having this problem.

Gary, I use Mozilla 1.3 and haven't seen any issues, on any vB forums.

I also stopped browsing phpbuilder's forums with mozilla because it doesnt work very well with it. PHP tagged messages show in a funny way, theres a newline (empty row) after every line and makes reading a bit difficult.

My advice to the webmaster(s) is that you edit the sources of vBulletin and remove the newlines from it. If you look at the sourcecode for example this page, you can clearly see that these pages have been transfered in binary-mode a couple of times. Remove the empty lines and transfer in ASCII-mode. Should cure the problem with mozilla(allthought I wouldnt bet my money on it .😉 )

firebird works well with PHPBUILDER but I have the PHP HR problem too

jstarkey just fixed the [ php ] problem yesterday (after reading my post). For the HR, if it hasn't been fixed it, changing it to <hr size="1"> should do the trick.

I'm posting this in Mozilla 1.0.1 right now and everything you mention looks fie to me. Can you post a screenshot?

Err sorry, didn't know it was you in your previous post, jstarkey :rolleyes: (and I thought you were talking about the [ php ] tags anyways, goes to show I need some coffee 😃) I was also in a little hurry when I made my reply :p

About the newthread/newreply/editpost, it's actually an issue in stock vBulletin - same with the <hr>s. The <hr>s are alright here now, but I'll post a screenshot for the newreply.
