caiPHP - A website I'd like you all to look at

Right now it's just out of testing, so everything should work. Should something screw up, however, please report it to me.

The site can be found at http://www.caiphp.tk . I'll try for a better domain whenever I get money for one (I'm cheap). (Unless someone wants to be über cool and buy one for me... yeah right. 😛)

The site is based on PHP programming, and for those who wish to learn it, kind of like this site.

Please give input on the design, coding, speed, etc. Also, please post any code snips or tutorials!

Didn't find any error (yet) which is normally a good thing.

Could use a few META TAGS for referencing but it's quite cool 🙂

Agreed... also think that perhaps it's maybe too green- might I suggest a contrasting color to make the links pop out a little more and add some depth to the site? I really like the look of the login part though- cool!

yeah, i like the general theme, but you may want to tone down the green a little bit with a dark blue of sorts or something like that, the green is somewhat overpowering

I agree with the color assessment. Green can be soothing, in the right shades, but you need some parts of the site to POP. Make your links a light yellow (like FF9999), and I think it'll look a little better.

I'd stay away from blue, though ... against green, it might look strange. Experiment a little -- believe it or not, purple looks good with green; if you don't believe that, go here.

Overall the site isn't bad, but is the login menu area supposed to take up 50% of the screen? Just wondering, btw I'm using Mozilla 1.2

That looks fine... But I don't think blue would look good on top of a green site. I could be wrong, and it certainly depends on the exact colors used. The best way to tell is experimentation (which works for a lot of things, by the way 😃)

oh and the logo looks nice although i am not sure about the X shaped clover (readability is not at its best)

wasn't so much an advertisement as an example of a blue/green thing, i don't really need the advertisement, got too much work the way it is for us to do, but good plug on your site though, lol

lol, that should be a pink. I think you mean either 9999FF or FFFF99. (Yellow is red and green, not just red. 😛)

Okay, I've added meta tags, and I'm working with colors now. I tried a couple yellows, and they didn't seem to fit. If any of you want to, just try a couple colors, respond if they look cool.
